Did you know that every person living in the Bathurst Quay neighbourhood is actually a member of the BQNA? If you have enthusiasm and some spare time to volunteer you could help the BQNA make our neighbourhood a better place.
What kind of volunteering do we mean? It could be as simple as posting some flyers around the neighbourhood for an event or helping spread the word in your building about an issue. You could write letters to officials or help organize an event for kids or youth. Attend a community meeting such as Waterfront Toronto, a Council Planning session, Police Community Liaison committee, or a Parks and Recreation presentation and tell us how it will have an impact on our neighbourhood. Start a mentoring program, help out with a fun festival event, or just get to know your neighbours and neighbourhood better.
